Taqueria La Familia: A Taste of Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Denver

They have upped their game! I didn’t think I could love this restaurant more but they had the A-team cooking tonight and our dinner slapped! The tortillas were homemade and amazing, the guac was fresh, the meat was seasoned perfectly, the chili relleno was savory and perfect! The carne asada tacos are my consistent favorite, the smothered beef burritos is delicious and relleno plate hits. Thanks so much to this lovely family for sharing your delicious food!!

Found this place when looking for a lunch spot while running errands. Gotta say the food is next level amazing, some of the best Mexican food I have had around town. The guacamole and the horchata were made fresh for me when I went there last. I highly recommend this place for someone who wants good no drills food.

What a great Mexican hole in the wall restaurant! It's a small place with limited seating inside and out. Entrees come with two types of salsas. One your traditional fresh red salsa, the other a delicious savory meat salsa I can't stop thinking about. I ordered the breakfast burrito. It came smothered in a generous amount green chili. They didn't skimp on the bacon like some other places (looking at your Santiago's).

I would give 6 stars if possible. My chilaquiles were made to perfection, and the chorizo was some of the best I've ever had. Very nice people here, will definitely be coming back

What a great find! We stopped in on the recommendation of a couple friends and we glad we did! The warm green chili (delicious btw) that was served with the salsa and chips was a great touch. Not only was it good green chili, it went nice dipping the chips in! We shared a 5 taco plate (3chorizo, 2 alpastor), 13$....makes it a touch over 2.5$ a taco...and included either guacamole or sliced avocado on them. For the metro, that's a great price....and I will say...Quality! We also shared an Asada Fries. Very tasty, lots of cheese for that long cheese pull, soft and flavorful steak, and smothered in that delicious green chili....almost too much as it did dog out the fries quickly....we still scraped the plate!!! We had a nice chat with a man, I think the owner....very nice man! We will return and tell all our friends!

The food was excellent and the service was fast and friendly. Great hole in the wall with authentic Mexican tacos. Guac was included with the tacos is ABUNDANCE. I tried the assorted tacos and a drink. The salsa and chips were complimentary. Local Spanish people eat here.

Great street tacos at an unbeatable price! 5 tacos for $12 is an amazing deal. The tacos scream freshness, with everything made in-house. You are greeted warmly at the door and the great service continues throughout the experience. I got the chicken and al-pastor tacos and they were fantastic. So fresh and dynamic, each bite was an experience. The house made salsas are all so fun, with one having meat in it. Really recommend this spot and I look forward to coming back!
